Dive into a meadow...
Summer 2007

Many of the plants we grow are now in flower - if you would like to see a selection of what is flowering now click here.

As well as indiviudal flowers, summer is the time for meadows and although when we think of meadows we see acres of swaying grass it is worth going under the surface at this time of year to apprecate the full range of plants and animals that make up this habitat.

It may look 'patchy' but an open sward of grass like this allows dozens of plant

species to thrive rather than just a few grass species
